holiday wedding

Whenever we go on holiday, wherever that may be, we always and I mean always come across at least one wedding. Its great to be able to see the different styles of wedding ceremony in each country we go to and although we never know the couple it does feel special to witness their special day. Here's one from this year:

There may be more wedding layouts to come as I counted 8 ceremonies over 3 countries this summer.

...and more

Sarah is home and needed to make something for a friend who has just had a baby. She needed company so who was I to say no?
I produced three layouts and here are two of them:
This first one, (lifted and blogged with permission from Alex), is of a temple in Nara. It houses a huge Buddha which  will  appear on a future layout.

The second one is of a typical little street in Kyoto. it amazed me that anyone could liven the small and narrow houses, let alone a whole family.

round 2.....

Whilst at the retreat I also did these.

This is a view of Tokyo by day. I used lots of washi tape and ink for this one:

and this is a view of Tokyo by night:

Whilst there, we came across an Apple shop where they, like they do here, gave one to one lessons on how to use mac computers. I used Kaisercraft papers and inspiration for this one:

This last one is of a road of huge electrical shops:

Somewhere there are some layouts of the boys that I did. I have already put them in the album so will get them out for round three.
If you click on the photo, the colours are better for some reason.????
