Here is an example of the pages from one of the two secret books I have received from a swapee. It hasn't been signed so I don't know which of my group has done it and they aren't letting on either. I chose Paris as one of my themes (of course) and Sculpture as the other. This is the Paris one. the drawers are filled with lovely things such as lace, pen nibs and there is even a tiny little folded book in there too.

shhhh it's a secret
Over on UKS I am taking part in a secret box book swap. The idea is to use 4 matchboxes to hide little gifts in and then make some pages to go round it. We have two partners tho' we don't know who we get-another part of the secret. I've done one on Paris and am part way through the second which is oriental. Here are some photos of the Paris one.

OCD
means that I have to finish 1 collection before starting on another so that is what I have done. I do admit to having a few rub-ons and flowers left but they will easily be used with something else and I am proud to say that I do not have any of the paper left. Small fib: I do have the strips from the bottoms of the 12x12 but I don't think that's counted (or is it?). So here are the final 2 layouts using this fab collection. One is of the painting at the top of the dome and the other is taken looking down from the top.

hmm
At the top.
It's not often that you get the chance to go right to the top of a church dome. However, when we were in Vienna last summer the cathedral had erected scaffolding for that very purpose. So up he went, (notice the use of 'he' and not 'I') to take some photos. Kaiser obliged by producing one of their latest collections "Sweet Nothings". Well 1+1=2 so here is the first of the Cathedral layouts.

It's my birthday
I am a new year day baby (not so much of the baby any more). It has its advantages and disadvantages. Few people forget but there is nowhere to go really. This year was lovely, however, as I woke to this card from my partner in crime Michele. Isn't it wonderful? Even more so because I know the effort that will have gone into this card. It's beautiful and I love it so thanks again Michele.xx
I do love cards and am always grateful to get them so thank you to everyone else who sent me one too. Love em'.Happy New Year to everyone. xx
