inky

Ok so Merly Challenge wants inky  this month so that's what I've done. I've used one of the Pickled Pear papers as my background and sponged ink sprayed onto a messy mat through a Prima mask. Then I used the matching stamp with the same ink pressing the stamp into it. This didn't work too well and made a bit of a mess so I used the sponge to ink the stamp. I inked  the matt -another Pickled Pear paper to make it the right colour.
The girl stamp is another Prima stamp and I picked up brown distress stain with a paintbrush for the hair and the same green ink as before for the matching shoes. Her dress is also from the Pickled Pear collection. The flowers were white but I matched them with the afore-mentioned ink.
The photo is of my gorgeous niece-the only chance I get to scrap a girl and use a bit of bling.

I hope this is inky enough!!

  2. I should certainly say it is :) It's inky and painty but I wouldn't say messy. It's absolutely wonderful. I think you have created a much more subtle and elegant design. Love that girl stamp and such a beautiful photo of your niece :) Pxx

  4. Fantastic layout! Although my dear I never said it had to be messy but as much or as little as you wish! It's okay I forgive you ;) I love it! It looks clean, well balanced but most of all it looks like you had fun doing it! Xxx
