Over on My Creative Sketches this is the latest sketch challenge:
I have used Prima Songbird, Prima Botanical, a Prima trinket and a Prima pebble. In fact the only thing that isn't Prima is the bunch of crystal flowers at the bottom left. When she was born the midwife announced that mum looked like a little flower and so her middle name was Fleur. However she was known by that name all her life and got quite upset if anyone called her by her first name.
It seemed fitting, therefore, to use lots of flowers on this layout.
So very pretty Karen - I love how you have shrunk the sketch down to make it your own :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page Karen, I adore that background paper, such a soft colour. And I love your cluster around the photo, especially your use of the journalling cards. I have a couple of packs but am scratching my head a bit as to how to use them. This has certainly helped inspire me. Px
ReplyDeleteSo beautifully delicate and so very appropriate for one called Fleur: a lovely name and no wonder she felt so strongly about it. The space around your adaptation of the sketch really sets it off.
ReplyDeleteLovely - such a pretty LO! Love the little birdcage :)
