song titles

Michele and I had a sort of play day today. I say sort of because we didn't get much playing done. More talking than playing was the order of the day. However, we both got one layout done after much ado, which is better than none.
I needed a title for mine and googled song titles with the word 'guitar' in and up popped Long legged Guitar Man. Now Steven is nothing if not long-legged. In fact I reckon most of his 6' 5" are due to his legs. so here we are; The long legged guitar man:

I followed the sketch from Sarah's cards challenge for this so am entering into the fun this month.

new Merly DT

There's a fab new design team over on Merly Impressions one of whom is Ali Parris. I hope she doesn't mind that I have lifted two of her gorgeous layouts. I've used different Kaisercraft papers and added one or two bits and pieces to make them my own.
The photo is the same on both because there is one each for my two cousins.

Unfortunately the bling isn't showing up too well but there are bits of bling dotted here and there around the pages.

another baby in the family

I have many cousins and many young cousins at that. One of them has recently had her first baby- a little boy so I made this for them and hope they like it.

cant think of a title

More layouts from yesterday. Photos are from a mad time in Marks and Spencer trying on ear warmers with my niece.-don't tell Marks- they might not let me back in. Decided to go with some funky papers from Kaisercraft-Hopscotch available here
Two similar layouts one for me and one for Sarah.

In fact as the challenge over on Merly is back and indeed requires a multi-photo layout, these may just find their way over there.
Merly have got a new DT-so looking forward to seeing what they produce.

Didn't we have a lovely day today?

Crop time and this month the class/challenge was set by Denise and Jane! I'd never been tempted by Project Life type layouts before so this was a real challenge for me. However I am really glad we did it as I so enjoyed it. The papers are by Little Yellow Bicycle and the photos are of a recent 'girly' break in Marbella. I shall say no more about it. You will see why in the second layout which uses the rest of the bits and bobs in our kit.

My lips are sealed because:

I did a few more layouts but will photograph them tomorrow when the light is better-hopefully!

Play day

The plumber is still here so Michele came to me this time and we both produced 2 layouts each which is an improvement on our usual output. I went for two completely different styles and like them both equally. Both are of Michael on his birthday this year.
I think Emilie would be proud of me putting her tuition to use:

This next one was lifted from the CC blog and uses their papers:

The intention was to change it but in the end I just went with it.

new layouts

I missed the latest crop due to not feeling very well but still managed to get hold of the challenge that Jane set for us. It uses Fancy Pants park Bench papers and embellishments.
The photo was taken by Steven's friend while they were sitting in the car and the sun was behind Steven. It's probably technically completely wrong but I love it.

I also managed to get another one out of the bits and pieces that were left. This was taken when my niece and I went to Leamington to see Steven.

Thanks Jane.
